Starter and Pro plans are live

Borker now ships with two inclusive plans (Starter and Pro). The platform provides the AI key, billing periods reset cleanly with Stripe, and onboarding is rebuilt to route signups by plan. Bring your own key still works for Lifetime customers.

We added two plans, fixed the onboarding flow that used to ask BYOK and Lifetime customers to enter an API key before they had even picked a plan, and tightened the Stripe webhook so generation quotas reset on the right day every month.

Four plans, one picker

Borker now offers four plans, all visible on the new plan picker step in onboarding:

The onboarding plan picker showing four plans side by side: BYOK at $9 a month, Starter at $19 a month, Pro at $59 a month with a Most Popular badge, and Lifetime at $149 once.

  • Starter at $19/month ships 100 generations a month, five connected channels, all platforms (X, LinkedIn, Farcaster, Paragraph), and the full content engine. Borker provides the AI key.
  • Pro at $59/month ships 500 generations a month, fifteen channels, up to five team members, and priority support. Borker provides the AI key.
  • BYOK at $9/month stays as the bring-your-own-Anthropic-key plan for users who want unlimited generation on their own API balance.
  • Lifetime at $149 once stays as a one-time purchase for the same.

The big shift is on Starter and Pro: Borker provides the AI key, so you do not need an Anthropic account to use the product. You sign up, pick a plan, configure your brand, and the daily workflow starts generating. One bill from Borker covers everything.

If you previously brought your own key, nothing changes. BYOK and Lifetime continue to use whatever key you configure in Settings → API Keys.

Generation quotas now reset on your actual Stripe billing anchor, not on a calendar month boundary. If your Pro subscription renews on the 17th, your 500 generations refresh on the 17th. The Billing settings page surfaces the current plan and provides a single Manage billing link into the Stripe customer portal:

Plan-aware onboarding

Onboarding used to ask everyone to enter an Anthropic API key before they had even picked a plan. For Starter and Pro that step was nonsensical (Borker provides the key) and for BYOK it sat at the wrong spot in the flow.

The onboarding sequence is now:

  1. Tell Borker about your brand
  2. Wait while we analyze (the analysis runs on Borker's platform key, so signup works the same regardless of plan)
  3. Review what we learned
  4. Pick a plan
  5. Only if you picked BYOK or Lifetime: enter your Anthropic API key
  6. Start using the product

Starter and Pro signups skip step 5 entirely. The progress bar at the top of every onboarding page no longer claims an "API key" step exists for those plans.

Bug fixes

  • Stripe webhooks no longer leave workspaces stuck "incomplete". Stripe quietly moved the subscription period fields under items.data[0], and our webhook was reading the old location. Every staging checkout had been silently leaving workspaces in an unfinished state. The webhook reads the new location now and we pinned the API version so future shape drift is loud instead of silent.
  • Plan choice survives email confirmation. New-tab signups (where the user clicks the email confirmation link in a different browser context) now keep the plan they picked on the landing page, instead of dumping them on the default flow.
  • Onboarding state no longer disappears after fresh workspace creation. A row-level-security gap caused onboarding writes to silently 403, and the UI swallowed those errors. Both ends are fixed: the writes succeed, and they retry up to three times if something transient does fail.

New here? Borker is the AI content engine for founders.

We learn your voice, watch your news feeds, and ship posts to X, LinkedIn, Farcaster and your blog while you build the actual product.
