Troubleshooting
Scheduling Issues
Posts not reaching Postiz, wrong times, or wrong accounts. Here's how to fix them.
Posts aren't being scheduled to Postiz
After approving content, it should be scheduled via Workflows → Process Approved. If posts aren't appearing in Postiz:
- Check your Postiz API key: Go to Settings → API Keys and verify the Postiz key is saved. The preflight check on the Workflows page will show a yellow warning if it's missing.
- Connect your social accounts in Postiz: Borker sends posts to Postiz, which then publishes to X, LinkedIn, etc. If your accounts aren't connected in Postiz, scheduling will fail silently.
- Run Process Approved: Approved content doesn't get scheduled automatically. You need to run the Process Approved workflow manually (or wait for the daily run). See Process Approved.
Posts are going to the wrong time
Borker uses optimal time selection when scheduling. It picks the best available slot within your scheduling window.
- To change your posting window, go to Settings → Scheduling and adjust your preferred hours.
- Times are always in the timezone you set in scheduling settings. Double-check it matches your audience's timezone.
Posts are going to the wrong platform or account
- Check Settings → Platforms: each platform must be enabled and have the right default content type.
- In Postiz, verify the correct social accounts are connected. Borker passes a platform name (
x,linkedin, farcaster) to Postiz; Postiz routes to the connected account for that platform.
Process Approved workflow shows 0 scheduled
This means there were no approved items waiting in the queue. Check:
- Go to Content → Approvals: are there items in "Approved" status?
- If not, run the Daily Workflow first to generate content, then approve items, then run Process Approved.
Farcaster / Paragraph posts not appearing
Farcaster and Paragraph use Postiz as the publishing layer. If posts aren't appearing:
- Verify Farcaster and Paragraph accounts are connected in Postiz (not just in Borker settings)
- For Paragraph: check that your Paragraph API key is saved in Settings → API Keys
Content was approved but disappeared
Content soft-deletes when removed; it doesn't show in the calendar. Check the Approvals page filter for "All" statuses. If it's not there, it may have been deleted.
