Error Reference
A quick-reference list of Borker error messages and how to fix them.
Workflow errors
"Anthropic API key not configured"
Where: Preflight check (red), workflow run log
Fix: Add your Anthropic API key in Settings → API Keys. You need an API key from console.anthropic.com.
"No calendar slots found for today"
Where: Daily workflow log, generates 0 posts
Fix: Your scheduling hasn't been saved yet. Go to Settings → Scheduling, configure your posting days and times, and save. This creates the calendar slots the workflow needs.

"Post limit reached"
Where: Preflight check (red), workflow log
Fix: Your plan's monthly post limit is exhausted. Upgrade your plan or wait for the next billing cycle.
"No topics configured"
Where: Preflight check (yellow), workflow log
Fix: Add at least one topic in Settings → Topics.
"Brand voice not configured"
Where: Preflight check (yellow)
Fix: Complete the brand voice setup in Settings → Brand Voice. At minimum, fill in the brand description field.
Account / auth errors
"Invalid login credentials"
Where: Sign-in page
Fix: Double-check your email and password. If you signed up with Google, use Continue with Google instead of email/password.
"Email not confirmed"
Where: After sign-up
Fix: Check your inbox for a confirmation email from Borker. Check spam. The link expires after 24 hours; if it's expired, sign in again to trigger a new confirmation email.
"You don't have access to this workspace"
Where: After navigating to a workspace URL
Fix: You may have been removed from the workspace, or you're signed into the wrong account. Contact your workspace admin.
API key errors
"PARAGRAPH_API_KEY not configured"
Where: Accounts page, publishing log
Fix: Add your Paragraph API key in Settings → API Keys. Get it from your Paragraph dashboard under Account → API Keys.
"Postiz API key missing"
Where: Preflight check (yellow)
Fix: Add your Postiz API key in Settings → API Keys. Without it, Borker can generate content but cannot publish.
"Invalid Anthropic API key"
Where: Workflow run, generation failure
Fix: Your Anthropic API key is saved but not valid. Re-check it in your Anthropic console and re-enter it in Settings → API Keys.
Billing errors
"Your subscription is inactive"
Where: Feature access, workflow run
Fix: Go to Settings → Billing and check your subscription status. Your card may have declined; update your payment method.
"Subscription inactive"
Where: When trying to generate content or run workflows
Fix: Go to Settings → Billing and reactivate your plan.
