About the product
What Borker is, the problem it solves, who pays for it, and the pricing affiliates earn on.
What is Borker?
The AI content engine that learns a brand's voice and keeps its social presence alive (on X, LinkedIn, Farcaster, and Paragraph) while the founder keeps building.
The problem we solve
Every founder, indie hacker, and small marketing team faces the same trap:
- The Drafts Graveyard. 47 unfinished posts. "I'll polish this later" was three months ago.
- The Guilt of Ghosting. Their last post was the funding announcement. That was a while back.
- The AI Cringe. Every "Excited to announce…" sounds like every other tool. Delete. Delete. Delete.
- The Time Trap. Two hours for one decent post. Meanwhile the backlog grows and users wait.
They know content matters. They just don't have time to do it well, and they refuse to sound generic. That's exactly why Borker exists.
What Borker actually does
Borker is not another scheduler. Schedulers are commodities. Anyone can queue a post. Borker generates the post itself, in the founder's actual voice, then schedules and publishes it.
- It learns the brand voice. During onboarding, Borker reads the user's website and sample posts to build a voice profile: tone, terminology, opinions, what to avoid. The AI is Claude (by Anthropic).
- It pulls content from multiple sources, not just thin air. Daily generation from topic lists; news-reactive posts from industry RSS; auto-redistribution from the user's own blog; on-demand prompts; AI-designed multi-phase campaigns.
- It routes everything through one approval pipeline. Drafts land in Review → user approves → schedule → publishes. Nothing posts without the user saying yes.
Who pays for Borker
- Solo founders who want a real social presence without becoming full-time content creators.
- Small marketing teams who want to scale output across platforms without scaling headcount.
- Creator-led brands who need consistency across long-form (Paragraph) and short-form (X, Farcaster).
Pricing: what affiliates need to know
Borker has four plans. Affiliates earn commission on all four.
| Plan | Price | What's included |
|---|---|---|
| BYOK | $9 / month | Bring Your Own Anthropic key. Unlimited generations. The user pays Anthropic directly for AI usage (typically $1–$10/month). No Borker markup. Their key is encrypted at rest. |
| Starter | $19 / month | 100 AI generations / month included. Anthropic API key not required. |
| Pro | $59 / month | 500 AI generations / month included. Anthropic API key not required. |
| Lifetime | $149 once | 3 channels, unlimited generations (BYOK), forever. No recurring subscription. |
Borker requires an Anthropic API key for BYOK and Lifetime plans (and is optional but supported on Starter/Pro). The Starter and Pro plans include AI generations under a monthly limit, so a new user can sign up and start using Borker without ever touching an API key.
This matters for affiliates. In early conversations, the #1 friction point we've seen is users not knowing how to get an Anthropic API key. We've written a clear onboarding guide, and the Starter / Pro plans were designed specifically to remove that friction. If you're talking to people you think will get stuck on the API-key step, recommend Starter or Pro, not BYOK or Lifetime.
